اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّى أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أَضِلَّ أَوْ أُضَلَّ أَوْ أَزِلَّ أَوْ أُزَلَّ أَوْ أَظْلِمَ أَوْ أُظْلَمَ أَوْ أَجْهَلَ أَوْ يُجْهَلَ عَلَىَّ

allahumma inni a'udhu bika an adilla aw udalla, aw azilla aw uzalla, aw adhlima aw udhlama, aw ajhala aw yujhala 'alayya

اے اللہ! میں تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں اس بات سے کہ میں گمراہ ہوں یا گمراہ کیا جاؤں، پھسل جاؤں یا پھسلایا جاؤں، ظلم کروں یا مجھ پر ظلم کیا جائے، یا جہالت کروں یا مجھ سے جہالت کی جائے۔

Supplication During Strong Wind

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَهَا، وَأَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّهَا

allahumma inni as'aluka khayraha wa a'udhu bika min sharriha

اے اللہ! میں تجھ سے اس ہوا کی بھلائی مانگتا ہوں اور اس کے شر سے تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں۔

Supplication for Protection from Laziness, Sadness, and Debt

اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّى أَعُوْذُبِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزْنِ وَأَعُوْذُبِكَ مِنَ الْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ وَأَعُوْذُبِكَ مِنَ الْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ وَأَعُوْذُبِكَ مِنْ غَلَبَتِ الدَّيْنِ وَقَهْرِ الرجال

allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-hammi wal-hazan. wa a'udhu bika minal-'ajzi wal-kasal. wa a'udhu bika minal-jubni wal-bukhl. wa a'udhu bika min ghalabatid-dayni wa qahrir-rijal

اے اللہ! میں پریشانی اور غم سے تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں، میں عاجزی اور سستی سے تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں، میں بزدلی اور بخیلی سے تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں، اور میں قرض کے غلبہ اور لوگوں کے دباؤ سے تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں۔

Prayer for Protection from Satan

رَبِّ أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ هَمَزَاتِ الشَّيَاطِيْنِ وَأَعُوْذُ بِكَ رَبِّ أَنْ يَحْضُرُوْنِ

rabbi a'udhu bika min hamazatish-shayatin wa a'udhu bika rabbi ay-yahdurun

اے میرے رب! میں شیطانوں کے وسوسوں سے تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں۔ اور اے میرے رب! میں ان کے میرے پاس آنے سے بھی تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں۔

أَمْسَيْنَا وَأَمْسَى الْمُلْكُ للهِ، وَالْحَمْدُ للهِ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ، رَبِّ أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ مَا فِي هَذِهِ اللَّيْلَةِ وَخَيْرَ مَا بَعْدَهَا، وَأَعُوذُبِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا فِي هَذِهِ اللَّيْلَةِ وَشَرِّ مَا بَعْدَهَا، رَبِّ أَعُوذُبِكَ مِنَ الْكَسَلِ وَسُوءِ الْكِبَرِ، رَبِّ أَعُوذُبِكَ مِنْ عَذَابٍ فِي النَّارِ وَعَذَابٍ فِي الْقَبْرِ

amsayna wa amsal-mulku lillahi wal-hamdu lillahi, la ilaha illa allah wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahu al-mulku wa lahu al-hamdu wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadir. rabbi as'aluka khayra ma fi hadhihil-laylah wa khayra ma ba'daha, wa a'udhu bika min sharri ma fi hadhihil-laylah wa sharri ma ba'daha. rabbi a'udhu bika mina al-kasali wa su'il-kibar. rabbi a'udhu bika min 'adhabin fin-nar wa 'adhabin fil-qabr

ہم نے شام کی اور ساری بادشاہی اللہ ہی کے لیے ہے۔ تمام تعریفیں اللہ کے لیے ہیں۔ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، وہ اکیلا ہے، اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں۔ اسی کے لیے بادشاہی ہے اور اسی کے لیے تعریف ہے اور وہ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے۔ اے میرے رب! میں تجھ سے اس رات کی بھلائی اور اس کے بعد کی بھلائی مانگتا ہوں۔ اور اس رات کے شر اور اس کے بعد کے شر سے تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں۔ اے میرے رب! میں سستی اور بڑھاپے کی برائی سے تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں۔ اے میرے رب! میں جہنم کے عذاب اور قبر کے عذاب سے تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں۔

اَللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِيْ فِيْ بَدَنِيْ ، اَللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِيْ فِيْ سَمْعِيْ ، اَللَّهُمَّ عَافِنِيْ فِيْ بَصَرِيْ ، لَا إِلَـهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ ، اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكُفْرِوَالْفَقْرِ ، وَأَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ ، لَا إِلَـهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ

allahumma 'afini fi badani, allahumma 'afini fi sam'i, allahumma 'afini fi basari, la ilaha illa anta. allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-kufri wal-faqr, allahumma inni a'udhu bika min 'adhabil-qabr, la ilaha illa anta

اے اللہ! میرے جسم کو عافیت دے۔ اے اللہ! میرے کان کو عافیت دے۔ اے اللہ! میری آنکھ کو عافیت دے۔ تیرے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں۔ اے اللہ! میں کفر اور فقیری سے تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں۔ اور میں قبر کے عذاب سے تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں۔ تیرے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں۔

Prayer for Seeking Protection from the Whispers of Satan

اَللَّهُمَّ عَالِمَ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ فَاطِرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَاْلأَرْضِ، رَبَّ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَمَلِيْكَهُ، أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلَـهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ، أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ نَفْسِيْ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ الشَّيْطَانِ وَشِرْكِهِ، وَأَنْ أَقْتَرِفَ عَلَى نَفْسِيْ سُوْءًا أَوْ أَجُرَّهُ إِلَى مُسْلِمٍ

allahumma 'alimal-ghaybi wash-shahadati, fatiras-samawati wal-ard, rabbakulli shayin wa malikahu. ashhadu alla ilaha illa anta, a'udhu bika min sharri nafsi, wa min sharri ash-shaytani wa shirkih. wa an aqtarifa 'ala nafsi su'an aw ajurrahu ila muslim

اے اللہ! غائب اور حاضر کے جاننے والے، آسمانوں اور زمین کے پیدا کرنے والے، ہر چیز کے رب اور اس کے مالک! میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ تیرے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں۔ میں اپنے نفس کے شر سے تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں، شیطان اور اس کے شرک سے تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں، اور اس بات سے کہ میں اپنے اوپر کوئی برائی کروں یا کسی مسلمان تک اسے پہنچاؤں۔

أَعُوْذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللهِ التَّآمَّاتِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ

a'udhu bikalimatillahit-tammati min sharri ma khalaq

میں اللہ کے مکمل کلمات کی پناہ مانگتا ہوں اس کی ہر مخلوق کے شر سے۔

Upon Entering The Morning by Asking for Protection from Allah

أَصْبَحْنَا وَأَصْبَحَ الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ، لاَ إِلَـهَ إِلاَّ اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيْكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرُ. رَبِّ أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ مَا فِيْ هَذَا الْيَوْمِ وَخَيْرَ مَا بَعْدَهُ، وَأَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا فِيْ هَذَا الْيَوْمِ وَشَرِّ مَا بَعْدَهُ، رَبِّ أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكَسَلِ وَسُوْءِ الْكِبَرِ، رَبِّ أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابٍ فِي النَّارِ وَعَذَابٍ فِي الْقَبْرِ

ہم نے صبح کی اور ساری بادشاہی اللہ ہی کے لیے ہے۔ تمام تعریفیں اللہ کے لیے ہیں۔ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، وہ اکیلا ہے، اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں۔ اسی کے لیے بادشاہی ہے اور اسی کے لیے تعریف ہے اور وہ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے۔ اے میرے رب! میں تجھ سے اس دن کی بھلائی اور اس کے بعد کی بھلائی مانگتا ہوں۔ اور اس دن کے شر اور اس کے بعد کے شر سے تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں۔ اے میرے رب! میں سستی اور بڑھاپے کی برائی سے تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں۔ اے میرے رب! میں جہنم کے عذاب اور قبر کے عذاب سے تیری پناہ مانگتا ہوں۔

Dua To Seek Refuge Against The Loss Of Pleasure

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّى أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ زَوَالِ نِعْمَتِكَ وَتَحَوُّلِ عَافِيَتِكَ وَفُجَاءَةِ نِقْمَتِكَ وَجَمِيعِ سَخَطِكَ

allahumma inni a'udhu bika min zawali ni'matik, wa tahawwuli 'afiyatik, wa fuja'ati niqmatik, wa jami'i sakhatik

O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the loss of the pleasures that You have bestowed, from changes in the health that You have bestowed, from Your sudden torment, and from all Your wrath.

How to seek Allah's protection for children

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُعَوِّذُ الحَسَنَ وَالحُسَينَ رضي الله عنهما ((أُعِيذُكُمَا بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّةِ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ وَهَامَّةٍ، وَمِنْ كُلِّ عَيْنٍ لاَمَّةٍ)).

(Ibn AAabbas related that the Messenger of Allah used to commend Al-Hasan and Al-Husayn to Allah’s protection, saying:(OAAeethukuma bikalimatil-lahit-tammah, min kulli shaytanin wahammah, wamin kulli AAaynin lammah.))

(Ibn AAabbas related that the Messenger of Allah used to commend Al-Hasan and Al-Husayn to Allah’s protection, saying:(I commend you two to the protection of Allah’s perfect words from every devil, vermin, and every evil eye.))

Invocation for Allah's protection from the False Messiah

((مَنْ حَفِظَ عَشْرَ آيَاتٍ مِنْ أَوَّلِ سُورَةِ الْكَهْفِ عُصِمَ مِنَ الدَّجَّالِ)) ، وَالْاسْتِعَاذَةُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ فِتْنَتِهِ عَقِبَ التَّشَهُّدِ الْأَخِيرِ مِنْ كُلِّ صَلاَةٍ.

(Dajjal: among the great signs of the last hour and the greatest trials to befall mankind, which every Prophet has warned about. Most of mankind will folow him. He will appear from Asbahan, Iran at the time when Muslims will conquer Constantinople. He will be given special powers and will make the truth seem false and vice versa. He will claim to be righteous and then he will claim prophet-hood and finally, divinity. From his features is that he will be blind in his right eye which is a definite proof that contradicts his claim to be Allah as it is a sign of imperfection. The word Kafir will be written between his eyes which every believer, literate or illiterate will recognise.)(Whoever memorises the first ten verses of soorat Al-Kahf will be protected from Dajjal.)(One should also seek refuge with Allah from the tribulations of the Dajjal after the last tashahhud in prayer.(Refer to supplications #55 & #56))

What to say when you fear you may afflict something with the evil eye

((إِذَا رَأَى أَحَدُكُم مِنْ أَخِيهِ، أَوْ مِنْ نَفْسِهِ، أَوْ مِنْ مَالِهِ مَا يُعْجِبُهُ [فَلْيَدْعُ لَهُ بِالْبَرَكَةِ] فَإِنَّ الْعَيْنَ حَقٌّ)).

If you see anything of your brother that pleases you, or of his person or of his property [then ask Allah to bless him in it] for the envious eye is real.

What to say to foil the devil's plots

((أَعُوذُ بكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّاتِ الَّتِي لاَ يُجَاوِزُهُنَّ بَرٌّ وَلاَ فَاجِرٌ: مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ، وَبَرَأَ وَذَرَأَ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا يَنْزِلُ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا يَعْرُجُ فيهَا، وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا ذَرَأَ فِي الْأَرْضِ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا يَخْرُجُ مِنْهَا، وَمِنْ شَرِّ فِتَنِ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ طَارِقٍ إِلاَّ طَارِقاً يَطْرُقُ بِخَيْرٍ يَا رَحْمَنُ)).

(aAAoothu bikalimatil-lahit-tammat, allatee la yujawizuhunna barrun wala fajir min sharri ma khalaq, wabaraa watharaa, wamin sharri ma yanzilu minas-sama/, wamin sharri ma yaAAruju feeha, wamin sharri ma tharaa fil-ard, wamin sharri ma yakhruju minha, wamin sharri fitnanil-layli wannahar, wamin sharri kulli tariqin illa tariqan yatruqu bikhayrin ya Rahman.)

(I take refuge within Allah’s perfect words which no righteous or unrighteous person can transgress, from all the evil that He has created, made and originated. (I take refuge) from the evil that descends from the sky and the evil that rises up to it. (I take refuge) from the evil that is spread on Earth and the evil that springs from her, and I take refuge from the evil of the tribulations of night and day, and the evil of one who visits at night except the one who brings good, O Merciful One.)
