Delete Account

Overview

You can request deletion of your Al-Noor Islam account and associated personal data from within the app or by contacting Devrige support.

Account deletion is intended to permanently remove your account access and personal information that is no longer required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or operational purposes.

Delete Your Account From the App

  1. Open the Al-Noor Islam app and sign in to your account.
  2. Go to your profile, account, or settings screen.
  3. Select the account deletion option when available.
  4. Review the deletion notice and confirm your request.
  5. Follow any verification steps shown in the app.

Request Deletion by Email

If you cannot access the app or cannot find the deletion option, send a request from the email address associated with your account to:
contact@devrige.com

Include the subject line "Account Deletion Request - Al-Noor Islam" and enough information for us to identify your account. Do not send passwords or sensitive financial information.

What Gets Deleted

  • Account profile information associated with your Al-Noor Islam account.
  • Personal data connected to your account that is no longer needed for permitted retention purposes.
  • App data that can reasonably be linked to your account, subject to technical and legal limits.

What May Be Retained

Some records may be retained where required or permitted by law, including transaction records, security logs, fraud-prevention records, dispute records, tax or accounting records, backup copies for a limited period, and information needed to enforce legal rights.

Processing Time

We aim to process deletion requests within a reasonable period after verifying the request. Some data may take additional time to be removed from backups or logs according to retention schedules.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account may not automatically cancel active subscriptions managed by an app store or payment provider. You should cancel any active subscription through the relevant provider to avoid future charges.

Reading the times isn’t the same as making the jamaʿah.

Al Noor: Prayer Times & Qibla calls the adhan at your exact location, turns you to the qibla, and shows the jamaʿah times of the masjids around you — the times those masjids set themselves, not a calculation. Free to download on Google Play.

No account needed to pray on time. Prayer times, the qibla and anything you’ve saved keep working with no signal. Set it up once and the next adhan finds you — at home, at work, or in a city you’ve never prayed in before.

Everything inside

  • Adhan alarm for every salah
  • 23 calculation methods
  • Qibla, with the distance to Makkah
  • Nearby masjids on a live map
  • Jamaʿah times set by the masjid
  • Masjid events and programs
  • All 114 surahs, word by word
  • Translations in 16 languages
  • 65 reciters, downloadable
  • Ten hadith collections, each referenced
  • Hundreds of duas and daily adhkar
  • Qaza tracker with a monthly calendar

The times you just read were added by someone like you.

Every jamaʿah time in the app was put there by a worshipper — none of it is calculated. That is the only reason a traveller can walk into a masjid in a city they’ve never visited and still know when the iqamah stands.

Your masjid takes about a minute. Add its jamaʿah times in the app, or simply photograph the printed timetable on the wall and let the app read every prayer off it. If you help run the masjid, you can claim it and keep its schedule, facilities and events current yourself.

Then it keeps working without you. Someone you will never meet catches a jamaʿah they would have missed; a traveller prays in congregation instead of alone. InshaAllah those prayers are written for you too — a sadaqah jariyah that carries on long after you’ve closed the app.

“Whoever guides someone to good will have a reward like the one who does it.” — Sahih Muslim 1893

Masjids are added from inside the app — there’s no form on this website.

Free to download. Android now, iOS in development.
