Supplication When Afflicted by Calamity

إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ اللَّهُمَّ أْجُرْنِى فِى مُصِيبَتِى وَأَخْلِفْ لِى خَيْرًا مِنْهَا

inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un. allahumma'jurni fi musibati wa akhlif li khayran minha

بے شک ہم اللہ کے لیے ہیں اور بے شک ہم اسی کی طرف لوٹ کر جانے والے ہیں۔ اے اللہ! مجھے میری مصیبت میں اجر دے اور اس سے بہتر بدلہ عطا فرما۔

What to say if you see someone afflicted by misfortune

((الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي عَافَانِي مِمَّا ابْتَلاَكَ بِهِ، وَفَضَّلَنِي عَلَى كَثِيرٍ مِمَّنْ خَلَقَ تَفْضِيلاً)).

(Alhamdu lillahil-lathee AAafanee mimmab-talaka bih, wafaddalanee AAala katheerin mimman khalaqa tafdeela.)

(All praise is for Allah Who saved me from that which He tested you with and Who most certainly favoured me over much of His creation.)

Invocation for someone you have spoken ill to

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم: ((اللَّهُمَّ فَأَيُّمَا مُؤْمِنٍ سَبَبْتُهُ فَاجْعَلْ ذَلِكَ لَهُ قُرْبَةً إِلَيْكَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ)).

(Allahumma fa-ayyuma mu/minin sababtuhu fajAAal thalika lahu qurbatan ilayka yawmal-qiyamah.)

(O Allah, to any believer whom I have insulted, let that be cause to draw him near to You on the Day of Resurrection.)

What to say when you feel a pain in your body

((ضَعْ يَدَكَ عَلَى الَّذِي تَألَّمَ مِنْ جَسَدِكَ وَقُلْ: بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، ثَلاَثاً، وَقُلْ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ: أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ وَقُدْرَتِهِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا أَجِدُ وَأُحَاذِرُ)).

(Place your hand at the site of the pain and say: (Bismil-lah (three times)) the supplicate seven times: (aAAoothu billahi waqudratih min sharri ma ajidu wa-ohathir.))

(Place your hand at the site of the pain and say: (In the name of Allah(three times)) the supplicate seven times: (I take refuge in Allah and within His omnipotence from the evil that I feel and am wary of.))

قال صلى الله عليه وسلم : إذا عاد الرجل أخاه المسلم مشى في خرافة الجنة حتى يجلس فإذا جلس غمرته الرحمة ، فإن كان غدوة صلى عليه سبعون ألف ملك حتى يمسي ، وإن كان مساء صلى عليه سبعون ألف ملك حتى يصبح

دعاء المريض الذي يئس من حياته

جعل النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يدخل يديه في الماء فيمسح بهما وجههُ ويقول : لا إله إلا الله إن للموت لسكرات
