Supplication When it Rains
اللَّهُمَّ صَيِّبًا نَافِعًا
allahumma sayyiban nafi'a
اے اللہ! اسے نفع بخش بارش بنا۔

اللَّهُمَّ حَوَالَيْنَا وَلاَ عَلَيْنَا ، اللَّهُمَّ عَلَى الآكَامِ وَالظِّرَابِ وَبُطُونِ الأَوْدِيَةِ وَمَنَابِتِ الشَّجَرِ
allahumma hawalayna wa la 'alayna. allahumma 'alal-akami wadh-dhirabi, wa butunil-awdiyati, wa manabitish-shajar
اے اللہ! (بارش) ہمارے ارد گرد برسا، ہم پر نہیں۔ اے اللہ! پہاڑیوں، ٹیلوں، وادیوں اور درختوں کی جگہوں پر برسا۔

The supplication above is recited when the rain gets heavier or there is a concern that the rain will cause harm.
مُطِرْنا بفَضْلِ اللهِ ورَحْمَتِهِ
mutirna bi fadlillahi wa rahmatih
ہم پر اللہ کے فضل اور اس کی رحمت سے بارش ہوئی۔

By reciting this supplication, one believes that rain falls by the will of Allah (Allah's virtue), not by the stars, so they do not become disbelievers in Allah.
((اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَهَا، وَخَيْرَ مَا فِيهَا، وَخَيْرَ مَا أُرْسِلَتْ بِهِ، وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّهَا، وَشَرِّ مَا فِيهَا، وَشَرِّ مَا أُرْسِلَتْ بِهِ)).
(Allahumma innee as-aluka khayraha wakhayra ma feeha, wakhayra ma orsilat bih, wa-aAAoothu bika min sharriha, washarri ma feeha washarri ma orsilat bih.)
(O Allah, I ask You for it’s goodness, the good within it, and the good it was sent with, and I take refuge with You from it’s evil, the evil within it, and from the evil it was sent with.)

((سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي يُسَبِّحُ الرَّعْدُ بِحَمْدِهِ وَالْمَلاَئِكةُ مِنْ خِيفَتِهِ)).
(Subhanal-lathee yusabbihur-raAAdu bihamdih, walmala-ikatu min kheefatih.)
(How perfect He is, (The One) Whom the thunder declares His perfection with His praise, as do the angles out of fear of Him.)

(O Allah, send upon us helpful, wholesome and healthy rain, beneficial not harmful rain, now, not later.)

(O Allah, provide water for Your servants and Your cattle, spread out Your mercy and resurrect Your dead land.)

((اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللَّهُمَّ أَهِلَّهُ عَلَيْنَا بِالْأَمْنِ وَالْإِيمَانِ، وَالسَّلاَمَةِ وَالْإِسْلاَمِ، وَالتَّوْفِيقِ لِمَا تُحِبُّ رَبَّنَا وَتَرْضَى، رَبُّنَا وَرَبُّكَ اللَّهُ)).
(Allahu akbar, allahumma ahillahu AAalayna bil-amni wal-eeman, wassalamati wal-islam, wattawfeeiqi lima tuhibbu watarda, rabbuna warabbukal-lah.)
(Allah is the greatest. O Allah, let the crescent loom above us in safety, faith, peace, and Islam, and in agreement with all that You love and pleases You. Our Lord and your Lord is Allah.)

((إِذَا سَمِعْتُمْ صِيَاحَ الدِّيَكَةِ فَاسْأَلُوا اللَّهَ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ؛ فَإِنَّهَا رَأَتْ مَلَكاً وَإِذَا سَمِعْتُمْ نَهِيقَ الْحِمَارِ فَتَعَوَّذُوا بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيطَانِ؛ فَإِنَّهُ رَأَى شَيْطَاناً)).
(If you hear the crow of a rooster, ask Allah for his bounty for it has seen an angel and if you hear the braying of an ass, seek refuge in Allah for it has seen a devil.)
