- 1:1
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ ١
In the Name of Allah—the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful

إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ ٥
You ˹alone˺ we worship and You ˹alone˺ we ask for help

صِرَٰطَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ ٱلْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا ٱلضَّآلِّينَ ٧
the Path of those You have blessed—not those You are displeased with, or those who are astray

Virtues of Surah Al-Fatihah

لأُعَلِّمَنَّكَ سُورَةً هِيَ أَعْظَمُ سُورَةٍ فِي الْقُرْآنِ … ﴿الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ﴾ هِيَ السَّبْعُ الْمَثَانِي وَالْقُرْآنُ الْعَظِيمُ الَّذِي أُوتِيتُهُ
“I will teach you a surah that is the greatest surah in the Quran … ‘All praise is for Allah, Lord of the worlds’: it is the seven oft-repeated verses and the Great Quran that I have been given.”
