Surah Al-Mursalaat

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

1. 77:1

   وَٱلْمُرْسَلَـٰتِ عُرْفًۭا ١

   By those ˹winds˺ sent forth successively

   Download or share
2. 77:2

   فَٱلْعَـٰصِفَـٰتِ عَصْفًۭا ٢

   and those blowing violently

   Download or share
3. 77:3

   وَٱلنَّـٰشِرَٰتِ نَشْرًۭا ٣

   and those scattering ˹rainclouds˺ widely

   Download or share
4. 77:4

   فَٱلْفَـٰرِقَـٰتِ فَرْقًۭا ٤

   And ˹by˺ those ˹angels˺ fully distinguishing ˹truth from falsehood˺

   Download or share
5. 77:5

   فَٱلْمُلْقِيَـٰتِ ذِكْرًا ٥

   and those delivering revelation

   Download or share
6. 77:6

   عُذْرًا أَوْ نُذْرًا ٦

   ending excuses and giving warnings

   Download or share
7. 77:7

   إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَوَٰقِعٌۭ ٧

   Surely, what you are promised will come to pass

8. 77:8

   فَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ طُمِسَتْ ٨

   So when the stars are put out

9. 77:9

   وَإِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ فُرِجَتْ ٩

   and the sky is torn apart

10. 77:10

    وَإِذَا ٱلْجِبَالُ نُسِفَتْ ١٠

    and the mountains are blown away

11. 77:11

    وَإِذَا ٱلرُّسُلُ أُقِّتَتْ ١١

    and the messengers’ time ˹to testify˺ comes up—

12. 77:12

    لِأَىِّ يَوْمٍ أُجِّلَتْ ١٢

    for which Day has all this been set

13. 77:13

    لِيَوْمِ ٱلْفَصْلِ ١٣

    For the Day of ˹Final˺ Decision

14. 77:14

    وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ ١٤

    And what will make you realize what the Day of Decision is

15. 77:15

    وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ١٥

    Woe on that Day to the deniers

16. 77:16

    أَلَمْ نُهْلِكِ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ ١٦

    Did We not destroy earlier disbelievers

17. 77:17

    ثُمَّ نُتْبِعُهُمُ ٱلْـَٔاخِرِينَ ١٧

    And We will make the later disbelievers follow them

18. 77:18

    كَذَٰلِكَ نَفْعَلُ بِٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ ١٨

    This is how We deal with the wicked

19. 77:19

    وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ١٩

    Woe on that Day to the deniers

20. 77:20

    أَلَمْ نَخْلُقكُّم مِّن مَّآءٍۢ مَّهِينٍۢ ٢٠

    Did We not create you from a humble fluid

21. 77:21

    فَجَعَلْنَـٰهُ فِى قَرَارٍۢ مَّكِينٍ ٢١

    placing it in a secure place

22. 77:22

    إِلَىٰ قَدَرٍۢ مَّعْلُومٍۢ ٢٢

    until an appointed time

    Download or share
23. 77:23

    فَقَدَرْنَا فَنِعْمَ ٱلْقَـٰدِرُونَ ٢٣

    We ˹perfectly˺ ordained ˹its development˺. How excellent are We in doing so

24. 77:24

    وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ٢٤

    Woe on that Day to the deniers

25. 77:25

    أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ ٱلْأَرْضَ كِفَاتًا ٢٥

    Have We not made the earth a lodging

26. 77:26

    أَحْيَآءًۭ وَأَمْوَٰتًۭا ٢٦

    for the living and the dead

27. 77:27

    وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِىَ شَـٰمِخَـٰتٍۢ وَأَسْقَيْنَـٰكُم مَّآءًۭ فُرَاتًۭا ٢٧

    and placed upon it towering, firm mountains, and given you fresh water to drink

28. 77:28

    وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ٢٨

    Woe on that Day to the deniers

29. 77:29

    ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ مَا كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ ٢٩

    ˹The disbelievers will be told,˺ “Proceed into that ˹Fire˺ which you used to deny

30. 77:30

    ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ ظِلٍّۢ ذِى ثَلَـٰثِ شُعَبٍۢ ٣٠

    Proceed into the shade ˹of smoke˺ which rises in three columns

31. 77:31

    لَّا ظَلِيلٍۢ وَلَا يُغْنِى مِنَ ٱللَّهَبِ ٣١

    providing neither coolness nor shelter from the flames

32. 77:32

    إِنَّهَا تَرْمِى بِشَرَرٍۢ كَٱلْقَصْرِ ٣٢

    Indeed, it hurls sparks ˹as big˺ as huge castles

33. 77:33

    كَأَنَّهُۥ جِمَـٰلَتٌۭ صُفْرٌۭ ٣٣

    and ˹as dark˺ as black camels.”

34. 77:34

    وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ٣٤

    Woe on that Day to the deniers

35. 77:35

    هَـٰذَا يَوْمُ لَا يَنطِقُونَ ٣٥

    On that Day they will not ˹be in a position to˺ speak

36. 77:36

    وَلَا يُؤْذَنُ لَهُمْ فَيَعْتَذِرُونَ ٣٦

    nor will they be permitted to offer excuses

37. 77:37

    وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ٣٧

    Woe on that Day to the deniers

38. 77:38

    هَـٰذَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ ۖ جَمَعْنَـٰكُمْ وَٱلْأَوَّلِينَ ٣٨

    ˹They will be told by Allah,˺ “This is the Day of ˹Final˺ Decision: We have gathered you along with earlier disbelievers ˹for punishment˺

39. 77:39

    فَإِن كَانَ لَكُمْ كَيْدٌۭ فَكِيدُونِ ٣٩

    So if you have a scheme ˹to save yourselves˺, then use it against Me.”

40. 77:40

    وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ٤٠

    Woe on that Day to the deniers

41. 77:41

    إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى ظِلَـٰلٍۢ وَعُيُونٍۢ ٤١

    Indeed, the righteous will be amid ˹cool˺ shade and springs

42. 77:42

    وَفَوَٰكِهَ مِمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ ٤٢

    and any fruit they desire

43. 77:43

    كُلُوا۟ وَٱشْرَبُوا۟ هَنِيٓـًٔۢا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ ٤٣

    ˹They will be told,˺ “Eat and drink happily for what you used to do.”

44. 77:44

    إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ ٤٤

    Surely this is how We reward the good-doers

45. 77:45

    وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ٤٥

    ˹But˺ woe on that Day to the deniers

46. 77:46

    كُلُوا۟ وَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ قَلِيلًا إِنَّكُم مُّجْرِمُونَ ٤٦

    “Eat and enjoy yourselves for a little while, ˹for˺ you are truly wicked.”

    وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ٤٧

    Woe on that Day to the deniers

48. 77:48

    وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱرْكَعُوا۟ لَا يَرْكَعُونَ ٤٨

    When it is said to them, “Bow down ˹before Allah,” they do not bow

    وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ٤٩

    Woe on that Day to the deniers

50. 77:50

    فَبِأَىِّ حَدِيثٍۭ بَعْدَهُۥ يُؤْمِنُونَ ٥٠

    So what message after this ˹Quran˺ would they believe in
