Virtues of Surah Al-Falaq
From sahih and hasan hadith, quoted with their references.
“Have you not seen verses revealed tonight, the like of which have never been seen? ‘Say: I seek refuge with the Lord of the daybreak’ and ‘Say: I seek refuge with the Lord of mankind’.”
Sahih Muslim 814
Every night, when the Prophet ﷺ went to bed, he would join his palms, blow into them and recite “Say: He is Allah, the One”, “Say: I seek refuge with the Lord of the daybreak” and “Say: I seek refuge with the Lord of mankind”, then wipe over as much of his body as he could, beginning with his head, face and the front of his body. He did this three times.
Sahih al-Bukhari 5017
