Virtues of Surah Al-Ikhlas
From sahih and hasan hadith, quoted with their references.
“By Him in whose hand my soul is, it is equal to one third of the Quran.”
Said of a man who had spent the night repeating “Say: He is Allah, the One”.
Sahih al-Bukhari 5013
Every night, when the Prophet ﷺ went to bed, he would join his palms, blow into them and recite “Say: He is Allah, the One”, “Say: I seek refuge with the Lord of the daybreak” and “Say: I seek refuge with the Lord of mankind”, then wipe over as much of his body as he could, beginning with his head, face and the front of his body. He did this three times.
Sahih al-Bukhari 5017
